violence

HRCI stops the Violence against with women, children and families in communities; and with public health and safety systems. Our innovative work in vulnerable settlements aims to reduce maternal and neonatal mortality and morbidity, child malnutrition, reduce adolescent anaemia and gender-based violence - all key determinants of health equity for the family and the community at large.

women rights

At HRCI all of us want to create – and participate in – a society where all women can live a violent-free, dignified life with no discrimination. We dream of a society in which we can all be creative and productive members.

No matter how expansive a dream, it takes action to bring it to life. This reasoning is why HRCI focuses on empowering women and girls. With education, productive work and resistance to violence in their lives, they can be strong and independent contributing members to society.

child welfare and act

We works towards the recognition, promotion and protection of rights of all children. It aims to look at the child in an integrated manner within the framework of the Constitution of India, and the UN Convention of the Rights of the Child, which India ratified in 1992, and contribute to the building of an environment where every child’s rights are recognised and promoted without discrimination.

we believe that child rights and children’s concerns have to be mainstreamed into all developmental planning and action, and must also become a core developmental indicator.

youth skill development programs

By enabling children to complete secondary education, delay their age of marriage, and skilling young people to be in jobs, we are helping move a generation out of the vicious cycle of poverty.

we works towards providing various skill development programmes to create opportunities for under-privileged youth of the country – the most affected group today, facing challenges to earn a living and become financially independent. Our skilling programmes aim to enhance the incomes and livelihoods of the underserved.
